Men says l love you after .. should we believe that?

my bf often says i love you to me.. its me all the time , that never forget to say, before i start a day and finish a day.. bec that i stop saying that words for him first after one year , but one thing i noticed.. he would surely say i love you after one great !! does he mean that? or he just had another one great of his life and he could never resist to say the words after?
