Investment for child Education - Best Insurance or Invest. Scheme for kids of 9 and 11 yrs ?

I want to invest for future educatiion of kids ( boy and girl ) through SIP system and / or by putting some lumpsum money from time to time. Pls advice the best schemes available in the market which give full protection and higher returns. Thanks in anticipation.
