My husband and our lack of life?..How do i get him to be more open in talking about this?

Well....why haven't you? If you are waiting for him and he is waiting for you...you obviously aren't going to get anywhere! If you are the one who usually initiates things why aren't you initiating things now? You know he prefers not to be the initiator so suck it up and jump him! LOL! You will both be much happier! :) Especially after 8 months....Wow!
