What should I major in if I want to be an adventurer/explorer?

My three pions in life are traveling, adventuring/exploring, and writing. Specifically, I love learning about different cultures: what makes them unique, how we connect, etc. I have considered being a travel writer, or a writer for National Geographic, although I don't want to limit myself. With this in mind, I am unsure as to what I should be my. Right now, I am a Liberal Arts honors major, as well as a journalism major. I would not mind changing the journalism part, as well as tacking on an additional degree. I've considered anthropology, sociology, social work, the clics, english, government, and communications, and am truly open to anything. I am really just clueless about what degree would allow me to travel and live around the world. I understand the chances of this actually happening, with our economic state, are slim, but I would like to try my best. Thanks.
