How is it that little children know everything?

i knew about periods at 8. good thing to because i got mine at 11! (like a week after my birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY!) so waiting to teach a girl aobut it at 14 or 15 would be a bad idea.. i mean can you imagine how freaked you'd be if you had NO clue why your lower areas were bleeding?
