Lottery newb questions.. can someone help?

I just played florida lotto quick pick. Could someone tell me in more detail how it works as far as the money pot is concerned. They will be drawing tonight and I want it all to myself ;) but i realize that there's also a good chance others might have the same number. When the draw is announced is it that the winners can include ppl from the ending of the last draw to yours? For simplicity sakes if 5 people win then the entire pot is split 5 ways correct? For the last drawing it says 'rollover' on there website with no 6-of-6 $3 $2 or $1 winners. 79 5-of-6 winners; 3,266 4-of-6 winners ; and lastly 69,655 3-of-6 winners. But really I think i follow what's going on.. nobody one so it rolled over ok.. but is it constantly deducting from the overall pot from people that are submitting new winning tickets?? I think i'm mostly confused on the money rollover thing. Lastly i played 2 $1 tickets. What is better.. to play 1 $2 stub or like i did?? It's almost like you have to choose and weigh your opportunities vs $$greed lol.. First day playing so any good advice would help here thanks.
