Nixon's foreign Policy and view on Vietnam war in 1960?

Uh...if I'm not mistaken there was no Vietnam War in 1960, just a rather small military advisory presence in the country. The war didn't get hot until Kennedy then Johnson were in office. I could be wrong...I was in junior high at the time...but I don't think so. Good luck to you
