Has anyone noticed similarities with Resident Evil Apocalypse and Code: Veronica X?

I was watching the second movie the other day and I realised that towards the end it features parts off the movie intro for C:VX. For one, there's the part when Alice is running away from the helicopter which is firing at her, and the other one I noticed is when there's like three soldiers pointing weapons at her. They tell her to drop the gun, and as it's falling, she dives, catches the gun mid-air and then disposes of the enemies. Another thing I noticed is when their helicopter crashes after escaping Raccoon City and Alice loses her memory for a bit, which seems similar to Resident Evil Survivor. Has anyone noticed any other unneeded similaritie like these?(ie, I don't mean like Nemesis or the zombies)
